Chef Ann Curry’s passion is contagious and she loves meeting with each client and working with them to create a fabulous menu that is a reflection of their personal styles and tastes.

Chef Ann makes each and every Wednesday special by offering her Dinners To Go program. Two Entrees and complimenting sides are offered on a weekly basis with delicious meals that feed a family of four to six. Orders are placed on Tuesday by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is on Wednesdays from 5:00 until 6:30. They cost 34.00 per entrée.
Ann has crafted custom menus which reflect her love of fusing classic and trendy fare, making use of locally-grown, organic produce, as well as herbs and vegetables harvested from The Green Event Center Rooftop Garden, and “Grandpa Mickler’s” garden. From indulgent to healthy, Ann is able to create a menu to meet every event need.
Fun is her middle name and food is her passion and when she combines the two, great things happen in the kitchen. She has cooked for Presidents, Professional Athletes, and her own east coast restaurants, before heading this way. She brings all of that expertise with her and puts it to work for you and your guests. Working closely with you, she takes your personal styles and tastes into consideration and creates fabulous one of a kind menus for your event.
A native of Midwest Ohio, Ann spent her early culinary career in the “Low Country” of Charleston, South Carolina, where she catered a variety of events, including The Miss USA Pageant, The Phil Donahue Show, and The Ryder Cup golf tournament. Ann also had the privilege to serve as caterer to President and Mrs. Gerald Ford during their visit to South Carolina, and also to serve as personal chef for Charleston’s Spoleto Arts Festival.
After 10 years specializing in “Low Country Fare,” Ann opened her own “Winston’s” restaurant in the mountain resort of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Four years later, Ann became Executive Chef with Corporate Services of Sodexho, Inc. During her tenure there, Ann served as Executive Chef for Sodexho at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, then later went on to serve as Executive Chef at Space Center Houston for 13 years. During this time, Ann had the honor of serving the casts of Apollo 13 and Space Cowboys, as well as President George H.W. and Barbara Bush, director Ron Howard, singer Tammy Wynette, the legendary Walter Cronkite, and many other celebrities. From 2004 to 2008, Ann owned and operated Continental Cuisine in Friendswood, Texas, and previously held the position of Executive Chef at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.
